On May 21st we were awarded a grant from the Naval Officers’ Spouses’ Club for our Service2CEO program. We were honored to have been selected for the award. Felipe Arevalo, our Community Outreach Coordinator, was present at the awards ceremony on North Island Naval Base San Diego. “It was nice to share the ceremony with other organizations who also make it their mission to support military members, veterans and their families.”
Also during the presentation several military children from around the county received scholarships from NOSC. The scholarship will be used for next year’s college expenses. It was great to see so many children of military families look to further their education.
