On May 23, SDFLC staff attended the first ever Naval Base Point Loma Relationships, Parenting and Marriage (RPM) Expo. Community Outreach Director Chase Peckham and Community Outreach Coordinator Felipe Arevalo spent the day talking to our service men and women about a range of topics, from information on our Boost for Our Heroes award to financial tips to consider before deployment.
On May 24, Peckham and Arevalo were back at it again, traveling to meet with service men and women at the Camp Pendleton Prevention and Education Resilience Resource Fair. “We had a great time at the event talking to members of the U.S. Military about protecting their finances,” Arevalo said. “It’s always an honor to be able to give back to the men and women who fight for our freedoms.”
