On May 22, SDFLC staff attended the Summer Safety Resource Fair: Prevention, Education, and Strengthen Resilience Expo at Camp Pendleton. Community Outreach Director Chase Peckham and Community Outreach Coordinator Felipe Arevalo spent the day talking to our service men and women about a range of topics, from information on our Boost for Our Heroes award, to financial tips to consider before deployment. “We had a great time at the event talking to members of the U.S. Military about protecting their finances,” Arevalo said. “It’s always an honor to be able to give back to the men and women who fight for our freedom.”
