Mesa College students continued to show up in large numbers for the last two installments of the Mesa College personal finance speaker series. On April 11, SDFLC Community Outreach Coordinator Felipe Arevalo presented “The Pros and Cons of Private Student Loans.” The presentation explained how private student loans work, their advantages and drawbacks, and what you should look for when you’re shopping for private student loans. On April 25, the SDFLC outreach team was part of a panel of professionals who fielded questions from students concerning how to best navigate the road of paying for college.
