As part of our Wave of the Future program we enjoy going to college campuses and talking to the students to encourage positive money habit early. This month we started a series of presentations for the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office at UC San Diego.
The first three presentations of the series: budgeting, credit reports and scores and student loan repayment options were a great success, and students did not pass up the opportunity to learn. The afternoon student loan workshop was the most popular and about 50 soon-to-be college graduates came to learn what their options for student loan repayment will be.
