The SDFLC’s partnership with San Diego Mesa College continued in June, as the SDFLC participated in Mesa College’s two-day Classified Conference commonly referred to as ClassiCon. During the first day of the conference, Paul Lim, an SDFLC volunteer and certified financial planner, presented a pair of presentations. The SDFLC returned on day two of the conference to host our third Financial Opportunity Clinic of 2019. Thanks to email promotions, presentations, and social media posts from various Mesa College departments and professors, this clinic sold out weeks in advance.
