On Thursday May 19th and Friday, May 26th The SDFLC was invited to both Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and Camp Pendleton. On the 19th we were honored to host a resource table at the VMM-161 pre-deployment brief. The event was held at the O’Club (Officers Club) on base and had us attending three separate briefs to accommodate the over 600 service members and their families. We were happy to have the opportunity to support and thank them for all of the hard work by both those deploying and the families that they leave behind.
Our very own Brad Pagano served on a panel on Camp Pendleton for Onward to Opportunity (O2O) resource event. Over 80 individuals including active duty and their spouses were in attendance to learn from and learn of the resources available to them as they transition to civilian society. “We are so proud to have the opportunity to speak with these great individuals and support the great efforts of Onward to Opportunity”, said Pagano. Onward to Opportunity offers a no-cost hybrid learning experience combining classroom interaction with online training.
