In the last week we were invited on two separate occasions to spread financial literacy on Camp Pendleton. Our director of community outreach, Chase Peckham participated in the very popular Onward 2 Opportunity Panel last week. The panel discussed financial and employment related topics and resources.
As part of our efforts for Military Saves Week, we were joined by Pen Fed local management representatives Paul Socia and Louis “Lou” Palestini who met with volunteers of Navy Marine Corps Relief Society for a presentation and lunch and learn on the Boost for Our Heroes program, partnerships, banking and Q and A. These volunteers will now be able to pass along the information they have learned to the hundreds of constituents they assist regularly.
